I eat off the same plate twice and it's a science to keep one life separate from the next and to follow not into temptation. I eat off the same plate twice. Board up your window pain and remain the same distant, lonesome, man of a thousand jokes some much too close to the bone house, I remain the same, I remain the same. Board up your windowpane. In the attic, there's just another ceiling. What I'm feeling... I bury my bodies in the garden. Moves like starlings. Incomplete control, bus ticket origami folds, laid-back hands, and pneumonia toes. Just how do you feel? Mostly I'm so so, in complete control. Board up your windowpane. Amongst the framed pictures of a history are the blurry shots of a cowering, mystery, person that I do not care for; the boxes have no name, the boxes have no name. Board up your windowpane. Kill me and cut out my heart and it's an art helping work define, dismissing mistakes as fakes, tired all the time. Kill me and cut out my heart. Board up your window pain and sustain a multitude of guises what is known is shown but behind the eye is being drowned, amused, and soothed by a friend of mine, by a friend of mine. Board up your windowpane. In the attic, there's just another ceiling. What I'm feeling... I bury my bodies in the garden. Moves like starlings.

Issa 05:46
The tatters of luck wrapped around the neck, listen well, listen hard. A different time, another world, listen well, listen hard. This time we'll forget it and take our eyes from it, (from it) paint verities with impossibilities. (this time) Contradict it, change it and teach it, (teach it) If only cos that's how it's always been done. A blood soaked stupor, a resuscitation, listen well, listen hard. Take flight to the east, shun your idols and priests, listen well, listen hard This time we'll forget it and take our eyes from it, (from it) paint verities with impossibilities. (this time) Contradict it, change it and bleach it (bleach it) If only cos that's how it's always been done. David, Nathan, Heli, Joseph, Issa. David, Nathan, Heli, Joseph, Issa. David, Nathan, Heli, Joseph, Issa, Yuz Asaf. We'll forget it and take our eyes from it, (from it) paint verities with impossibilities. (this time) Contradict it, change it and teach it, (teach it) If only cos that's how it's always been done.

The floor's as good a place as any to keep all precious things, not yet broken and bespoken of the now. Oh, these day of dissatisfaction, a train between stations. And we might be done or at least just fading. Well we might be done or at least just fading. Somewhere in the body there's a light show, summer winter lights. Somewhere in the body there's a light show, somewhere summer winter lights. Somewhere in the body there's a light show, summer winter lights. Somewhere in the body there's a light show, somewhere summer winter lights. The cries were deafening as the show came to an end, existence in stages. A single grape can bring purpose and wet a thirsty tongue but deprivation leaves the raisin.

Existing, living in your living room will not kill that dying feeling, there's too much beauty above and below. Intuition tells me someone will love me for who I am and follow and stick to the immortal plan. Based upon these threads of thought, I thought I saw your perfect throat in a crowd somewhere out east. But joy is fleeting and so is sorrow and yesterday's an old tomorrow; perfection has never existed and never will.

I am so you are L I am so you are O I am so you are V I am so you are I I am so you are N I am so you are G. It's love and synergy, I am and you are me. I waste just everything I waste just everything I waste just everything I waste just everything I waste just everything I waste just everything I waste just everything I waste just everything. Buried my bad, dug up what left i had buried my bad, dug up what left i had buried my bad, dug up what left i had buried my bad, dug up what left i had I am so you are L I am so you are O I am so you are V I am so you are I I am so you are N I am so you are G I am so you are L I am so you are O I am so you are V I am so you are E I am so you are D It's love and you are me.

Pretend it's the afternoon and sleep in the room like you did in the womb. The weather's so cold that it bites the joy is all lost during the morning and nights. We soak up the sun like reptiles while the inbreds try to sell us their smiles. Behind their eyes are shadows they just don't remember where the light goes. And you said something in the pouring rain, your lips fuller than they've ever been, and so needed proof eventually came. There in the dark and the bar, breaking what I have into shard after shard get in or be dragged by the car. When your hand wakes your hair it brings birds to the yard and it's tearing me out. Sit fragilely, beat the love into me and it's tearing me out. Every bruise a reminder. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh Your pain goes but returns, what is good for us is not worth the concern. These mountains can protect, but not from yourself if your hearth is a wreck. So we double our single beds and our screams seem to bring new life to the place. And you said something in the pouring rain, your lips fuller than they've ever been, you said you could love any one of me.

Cocaine and other former lovers only got me down. Now I'm a noctambulist, homo sapiens, bringing home a beef and the bacon. Purpose and other former lovers left me slowly. Now I'm doubting everything I've pursued, I may have worn the wrong coat for these shoes.

The Willcox robbery was pure Butch Cassidy. Train robbers in the night using dynamite and fresh horses every few miles. Now, Carthage had promised to stay out of Italy if they'd stay out of Sicily. But the powerful and greedy Cato broke the peace treaty, "delenda est Cartago.", under Scipio, and Carthage was destroyed. I'm free to use my time watching anything that comes to mind to dilute this beautiful winter. But facts lack form, they don't kiss they don't keep you warm but they make for a beautiful winter. If knowledge is power then discussion must be prowess, a progress defying a beautiful winter. But the night's solution is to seek more documentation, wrapped in blankets, focus off the beautiful winter. In 1901 sponge divers found a bronze, ancient, computer off Point Glyphadia, a two thousand year wonder. The Antikythera Mechanism had an advanced gear system that could determine every move in the solar system. The gears had teeth numbering 227, 19 or 223, with this trail of prime numbers, it could predict eclipses. its capability haunts the mind.

It's the beginning that counts and that's all, boy that's the same lie I was told, I was told, I was told. Paint your future golden and work like hell that's the same lie I was told, I was told, I was told. Reclined, detached and stoic with a hair cut called heroic. You know I'm finding it hard to get even one leg out of bed. I don't want to fight anymore but I'm told I oughta. Join yourself to someone and work on the chain that's the same lie I was told, I was told, I was told. Be somebody by making somebody with somebody that's the same lie I was told, I was told, I was told. Cut off and dead with a woman in my bed. I wish I could abracadabra some more smiles and laughter but I did that before and it faded for me and her.

It must be fear keeping him here with nothing but the tearing seams, where the water tastes like Kerosene. There are only alarms to wake and intervene and a smell like Kerosene. But we never sleep, we rest, bereft of breath, stolen and unclean. awash in Kerosene. Dying into a wreck, become the space between the machine and the Kerosene You're a room on fire burning on all that caffeine soaked in Kerosene. Seeing nothing at all, eyes blind as polyethylene, and spitting Kerosene But a light rarely known serves as a reminding gleam to love your Kerosene.

Maybe someone should fall in the lake and drown down where the monsters ache from the dark, and the cold, and from all they where told about you and about me. Dress your body and call me, tonight well walk hand in hand my patience is virtually a virtue but for you I can never wait. When we have it all we'll waste it, When we have it all we'll waste it, When we have it all we'll waste it, When we have it all we'll waste it. When the days become too long and too hard to bear, we'll fly from somewhere to anywhere and talk until our lungs and tongues fade and break and the darkness steals our eyes away. Maybe we should go down to the lake and drown, down where the monsters ache in the dark, and the cold, we'll spiral and hold and never think to let go. When we have it all we'll waste it, When we have it all we'll waste it, When we have it all we'll waste it, When we have it all we'll waste it.

Paint, paint, paint yourself upon me, Your hair moves my body, Your eyes see straight through me, you made me forget everything that I thought I knew. Sit, sit, come sit down beside me, kisses in the hallway, the blues, they just fall away, you made me forget everything I thought I knew. Wishing and hoping that someone could come break this funk that I'm in not enough food and too much drinking, random nights and loveless love-making. Sleeping, not sleeping, but I got pills to help with that feeling, I got visual stimuli and that's how I kill my time, I write once in a while. Shoes wet from the weather, when the sun comes out I feel a little better, bandages scatter my room, I recall nothing, so they cocoon the wounds, Paint, paint, paint yourself upon me, Your hair moves my body, Your eyes see straight through me, You're a new truth to me, Your beauty could bruise me, but your voice it soothes me My heart might be fooling me but you made me forget everything that I thought I knew, you made me forget everything that I thought I knew, you made me forget everything that I thought I knew.

Hit your sister just to watch her cry. Spit from the balcony but miss every time you try. So taste what you've got. Take it back and unkill the dogs. Spoiling in ennui only an apocalypse could bruise. 99 bottles of wine already used or tried. So taste what you've got. Take it back and unkill the dogs. So try, taste what you've got. Take it back and unkill the dogs.

Caught walking through the galleries taking in the memories, I'm free but I'm not, I'm gone but I'm caught. Two too bone-tireds lost in the quite. You tempt every sense, my heart's in my head. We should talk about the big things 'til they're just the small things. strange names and working, possibilities are lurking. Mix our things on the floor, they fit so well there's a pause. how did we ever endure. Now give it all to the man waiting at the door. Strange dreams in the night of snakebites and bees in the car, the meanings all lost. And daydreaming too, thoughts of the blue town where we knew just how to... Talk about the big things 'til they're just the small things. strange names and working, possibilities are lurking. Mix our things on the floor, they fit so well there's a pause, how did we ever endure. Now give it all to the man waiting at the door. Caught walking through the galleries taking in the memories, I'm free but I'm not, I'm gone but I'm caught.

Long Nights 03:14
Don't trees look just like wooden thunder? Above/beneath there soil a bronchial wonder, existing. Do you think they're Buddhist or Christian? Muslim or Jewish…."hey, there's Lewis, let's go in!" Long, slow, counterintuitive nights, what books are these? A beer, please. The lights are brighter than me so I use my hands to see. You could have counted on me but now I've drunken. Time. Okay, it's done. There was talk but we didn't leave at one. Coming to, in twos, from the dark, two hundred animals disembark the ark. Long, slow, counter intuitive nights, what books are these? A beer, please. The lights are brighter than me so I use my hands to see. You could have counted on me but now I've drunken. Long, slow, counter intuitive nights, what books are these? A beer, please. The lights are brighter than me so I use my hands to see. You could have counted on me but now I've drunken.

So, I creep full of liquid sleep to the place by the cliff. In eleven hours I'll be powerless thinking about my health. But we gotta wait it out, we gotta wait it out (gotta wait it out, gotta wait it out) But we gotta wait it out, we gotta wait it out (gotta wait it out, gotta wait it out) But we gotta wait it out, we gotta wait it out (gotta wait it out, gotta wait it out) But we gotta wait it out, we gotta wait it out. Quarantined, unseen, alone by ourselves. I know this time has you worrying about our health. But we gotta wait it out, we gotta wait it out (gotta wait it out, gotta wait it out) But we gotta wait it out, we gotta wait it out (gotta wait it out, gotta wait it out) But we gotta wait it out, we gotta wait it out (gotta wait it out, gotta wait it out) But we gotta wait it out, we gotta wait it out (gotta wait it out, gotta wait it out) But we gotta wait it out, we gotta wait it out (gotta wait it out, gotta wait it out) But we gotta wait it out, we gotta wait it out (gotta wait it out, gotta wait it out) But we gotta wait it out, we gotta wait it out (gotta wait it out, gotta wait it out) But we gotta wait it out, we gotta wait it out.

When sang as a song everything will be alright. Don't need a prayer to show you it's okay. There's nothing in this world get you down. When sang as a song everything will be alright.

about

A shabby thing. Each track was written during moments of clarity and recorded in my free time. It is what it is, what it is, what it is...
I started writing around the end of 2013 whilst in Darjeeling, India. After returning home to the Isle of Man in 2015, I started working a job and saving. Not having much unfatigued time I would record and write when I could. Not an easy project to complete and came close to not being completed many times.
